Films You Can Watch This Fall to Learn About BLM

Nelson Mandela opened his heart and mind when he spoke the following words, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

In times like this, we can continue to grow as individuals and as a society if we seek out information and use our power to educate ourselves on manners of humanity.

Connections Counseling supports BLM. We acknowledge that to become a just society we often have to face the injustices head on. We stand as a community of learners, listeners and own our part in the movements that have held POC back, as well as the possibilities that will move them forward. Education has been the centerpiece of our own transformations. In our sessions as practitioners we offer a safe space for you to voice your own journey living within the unjust society we have found ourselves in. We are offering here a list of 8 documentaries from various sources, such as Netflix, Hulu, prime and Youtube Etc in attempts to be further supportive to our clients who might have the question, Where can I start learning more about the Black Lives Matter Movement?
